WBPS’s partner Kohler Energy announces rebrand

WBPS’s partner in power, Kohler Energy, has recently announced its rebrand to Rehlko, serving to highlight a new chapter for the company after its recent buy out from Platinum Equity.

An anagram of Kohler, and a nod to the company’s legacy as a leading energy supplier across the world, Rehlko has entered a new milestone in its history while continuing to grow on a global scale.

The acquisition and now subsequent rebrand of Kohler to Rehlko will support the company’s plan to evolve with ever-changing markets. Rehlko has committed to strengthening the company’s position as an industry leader as well as investing in a new generation of innovative energy resilience solutions.

Rehlko continues to stand as the world’s third-largest manufacturer of generating sets, having invested six decades in designing, manufacturing and deploying cutting-edge generating sets across the world into Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

WBPS and Kohler have worked together or many years to provide high-performing power to some of Europe’s most critical services, including healthcare, education, construction, as well as the data centre market. Today, WBPS continues to be Europe’s number one distributor of the brand’s generators and equipment, offering a vast selection of high-performing generators ranging from 10 kVA all the way through to 4,500 kVA.

Speaking of the rebrand, Andy Wilmott, CEO of the Wilmott Group and Managing Director of WBPS and Wiltech Acoustics Ltd said, “As Rehlko enters a new phase in its company’s history, WBPS’s involvement and partnership with the power group continues to go from strength to strength.

“With our joint focus offering comprehensive energy solutions that excel in both power and performance, we are proud to continue our support for this new chapter in the company’s history. We believe it is through change that we can continue to develop and grow and our partnership with Rehlko is now only further cemented as we work together to meet the growing demands of customers in the power marketplace.”
