With just over two months to go until the inaugural Critical Insight comes to a computer screen near you, have you registered yet?
With an agenda that brings together key industry experts to discuss the most important issues affecting the sector today – and tomorrow – Critical Insight is a not-to-be-missed date for the digital infrastructure calendar.
The two-day online event will be kicked off by Ali Moinuddin, Chief Corporate Development Officer & Managing Director, Europe at Uptime Institute, who will be future gazing – discussing the challenges facing the sector in a world where increased demand for capacity, energy and supply chain issues, and the need to go green are all dramatically changing the landscape of the industry.
The move towards sustainability will be grappled with by our day one panel, including panellists Astrid Wynne (Sustainability Lead, Techbuyer, and Chair, DCA Sustainability SIG) and John Booth (Reviewer, EU Code of Conduct and Chair, DCA Energy Efficiency). They will be asking the hard questions, and exploring how serious we are about going green.
Adelle Desouza, DCA Advisory Board and HireHigher Ltd, will be tackling another key concern, asking if we are doing enough to confront the data centre skills shortage – while Ian Shearer, Managing Director APAC and EMEA at Park Place Technologies, will be discussing how we can make the data centre smarter.
On day two, technologist, futurist, and keynote speaker Nabeel Mahmood will be part of a panel dissecting how we design data centres – how are we changing the way we design new builds, and what are we doing to modernise legacy data centres?
Later, Maikel Bouricius, CCO of Asperitas, will be looking at the cooling innovations that will be key to the next step in the data centre’s evolution.
These are just a few of the highlights heading your way this November, so pencil 22-23 November into your diary and register your interested today for Critical Insight 2022 at critical-insight.co.uk.
