Proximity Data Centres has announced an expansion of its edge data centre network, with three new sites coming online across several UK regions.
The new data centres are located in Liverpool, Chester and Coventry, and represent an 8MW expansion in capacity. That means Proximity now has six data centres across the UK, joining existing sites in Wakefield, Nottingham and Bridgend, although it hopes to expand to 20 sites within the next 12 to 18 months. The next two data centres will open shortly in Crawley and Livingston.
